My 2019 Top Ten List

We did a bunch of year-end lists at Crime Reads (I particularly did the psychological thrillers) but I thought maybe I’d do a more inclusive year-end list, which reflects what I actually read, These are in no particular order, though I’d make a special plea for Snyder’s book, which I don’t feel like it got the publicity it deserves:

  1. Samantha Downing, My Lovely Wife
  2. Rob Hart, The Warehouse
  3. Steph Cha, Your House Will Pay
  4. Adrian McKinty, The Chain
  5.  Lisa Halliday, Asymmetry
  6. Lisa Tadeo, Three Women
  7.  Jeannie Vanasco, Things We Didn’t Talk About When I Was a Girl
  8. Laura McHugh, The Wolf Wants In
  9. Lisa Lutz, The Swallows
  10. Rachel Louise Snyder, No Visible Bruises: What We Don’t Know About Domestic Violence Can Kill Us
